3 kms far from Siena, on the top of a hill covered with olive groves and vineyards, in the hamlet of  "Le Tolfe" , stands a 19th century villa called "Caselunghe " for its characteristic long shape, which lies among cypresses and holm oaks.
"Le Tolfe" is an antique name which, tradition says, comes from a knight of Carlo Magno called Tolfo Dei Gricci, who built a castle and tower both still existing along with the little church of St. Paterniano.

The villa offers a peaceful and tranquil holiday where one can enjoy relaxing in the large shady garden which house overlooks or walking through the fields, olive groves and vineyards which belong to the Caselunghe estate.

back		 How to arrive:
by car, leave the motorway Firenze-Siena at Siena Nord exit, then follow the road markings for Castellina in Chianti; after about 700m turn right in the direction of S. Miniato and then proceed for about 1500m. At the crossroad turn left and go down and around the modern S. Miniato quarter (on the right). At the next crossroad turn left and drive for about 500m then follow the markings for Le Tolfe.
